You can send us a file by email at any time. We have an email attachment size limit of 100Mb.

If your file is larger we will take a CD or DVD or can copy the file from a USB memory stick or SD flash card or you can use a file transfer service,  use our mailbigfile account by clicking here to easily send us up to 20 files with a total size of up to 5Gb

Other file transfer services are available like hightail.com (was yousendit.com), dropbox.com or  wetransfer.com.

Remember to email confirmation to the person dealing with your job or sales@generateprint.co.uk.

Make sure that the file you are giving us is not your only copy.

We do virus check all our files using an up to date copy of Kaspersky Anti Virus to see that they are virus free.

We prefer to work with PDF/1a files. There should be a 3mm uniform bleed and NO printers marks. You can create PDF files for free at adobe.com or using free software like cutepdf.com or bullzip.com.

If we have the correct font and your PDF file is not security protected we can probably edit your PDF file for you.

If the job is conventionally printed please ensure the PDF has colours saved as CMYK if you can. Please note that RGB files (produced from programmes like Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint have colour defined in a different colour space, you can specify CMYK in progammes like Microsoft Publisher, Corel Draw, Page Plus and Adobe CS programmes like In Design. Most programmes have an option to save files as PDF files. A PDF produced from these programmes (or Adobe Acrobat) will usually use the RGB or CMYK colours of the parent document.
